Nonprofit and Exempt Organizations Law Class – USF

USF

Last week, Gene and I had the pleasure of guest lecturing at the University of San Francisco School of Management and Business. We had a great discussion on nonprofit and exempt organizations law with the MBA students of Professor Kathleen Fletcher’s Nonprofit Management course. We covered a broad range of issues from director fiduciary duties to business activities to lobbying and advocacy as well as explored developing and timely topics such as social enterprise and new hybrid structures. We extend much thanks to Professor Fletcher for her gracious invitation to participate in the guest speaker series and to the MBA students for their attention and participation.

An abbreviated version of the PowerPoint presentation from the guest lecture is available here: Download USF – NEO Law 0211 – Final (Handout).
